Kaibab National Forest Coconino, Arizona Tusayan Ranger District

Project would involve tree thinning and prescribed burning on up to 3,000 acres to create a fuelwood supply in the Upper Basin. Project would help alleviate resource damage associated with illegal fuelwood cutting in the area.

Location

Upper Basin, 17 miles E of Tusayan, 4 miles W of Navajo Nation.
