Duck Lake Wetland Restoration

Kaibab National Forest Coconino, Arizona Williams Ranger District

Restore the wetland by returning the compacted clay layer, at least 24-inches thick, over the wetland basin where it was damaged by previous construction. Includes building a trick tank and fencing the entire wetland to exclude livestock use.

Location

The project area (Duck Lake) is located in ponderosa pine forest in the central portion of the Williams Ranger District.
