The Williams Ranger District is proposing to improve wildlife habitat and reduce tree encroachment within the McDougal Flat grassland area by cutting the majority of the trees and conducting follow-up prescribed burning where appropriate.

South of Interstate 40 and east of Williams, along the FS 141 road
