Half Whiskey Moon Lookout Forest Restoration Project

Ashley National Forest Daggett, Utah Flaming Gorge Ranger District

This project would include a variety of timber and fuels vegetative management activities totaling 1,113 acres within a 1,787-acre project area. Trees killed by beetles or infected by dwarf mistletoe would be removed to achieve project objectives.

Location

The project is located in the vicinity of Half Moon Park, Whiskey Creek, and the historic Ute Lookout Tower on the Flaming Gorge Ranger District of the Ashley National Forest.
