Antelope Flat Vegetation Management Project

Ashley National Forest Daggett, Utah Flaming Gorge Ranger District

Pinyon and juniper trees encroaching into sagebrush communities will be mulched or lopped, scattered and otherwise left in place. Objective is to maintain the sagebrush community for sage-grouse and to maintain native vegetative diversity.

Location

Project is located along the North side of Dutch John Mountain and Antelope Flat. The project is bisected by the Antelope Flat boat launch road and runs parallel and easterly across Hwy 191
