Honeycomb Mine

Ashley National Forest Duchesne, Utah Duchesne Ranger District

A new Plan of Operations was submitted for continued operations at the Honeycomb Mine. Large blocks of decorative calcite will be removed from the mine. Up to 2.5 acres active disturbance proposed. Disturbed areas not needed would be reclaimed.

Location

The Honeycomb Mine is within the Blind Stream drainage of the Duchesne District of the Ashley NF. At the end of Forest System road 121, in the North 1/2 of Section 28, T2N R8W, Uinta Meridian.
