Milk Lake Dam Stabilization

Ashley National Forest Duchesne, Utah Duchesne Ranger District

Milk Lake dam has been in a deteriorated state and under a breach order since 1994. The Forest Service is proposing to modify the Milk Lake dam so that it no longer creates a hazard to the public and downstream resources.

Location

Milk Lake is located in the High Uintas Wilderness on the Roosevelt Ranger District, within the Ashley National Forest. The Lake is located on the west side of the Yellowstone River Drainage.
