Smokey Spring Landslide Reroute

Ashley National Forest Duchesne, Utah Duchesne Ranger District

The proposed project would remove a debris plug within a landslide that occurred in 2005. Removal of the plug would reroute the flow of additional debris away from the wetland and spring pond at Smokey Spring in Uinta Canyon on the Duchesne District.

The landslide is located in Uinta Canyon on the slope above U-Bar Ranch on the Duchesne Ranger District
