Avintaquin Lop and Scatter Project

Ashley National Forest Duchesne, Utah Duchesne Ranger District

The purpose of this project is to improve and maintain the shrub and grass/forb communities, and provide important wildlife habitat by deterring the encroachment of conifers (pinyon, juniper, and Douglas fir.

Location

The project is located on the west side of the South Unit of the Duchesne/Roosevelt Ranger District of the Ashley National Forest, approximately 20 miles southwest of Duchesne Utah.
