D1 Roadside Sanitation Project

Ashley National Forest Daggett; Summit, Utah Flaming Gorge Ranger District

This project would involve cutting dwarf mistletoe infected trees along roadways to improve forest health. The project would also help reduce fire hazard and would provide additional firewood collection opportunities to the public.

Location

The project area runs along roadways in the western portion of the Flaming Gorge Ranger District (west of State Highway 44 in Daggett and Summit Counties, UT).
