Middle Henry's Fork Aspen Enhancement

Caribou-Targhee National Forest Fremont, Idaho Ashton/Island Park

The purpose of this project is to increase aspen regeneration across the Middle Henry's Fork Watershed by decreasing their competition with conifer species. Treatments may include timber harvest and prescribed burning.

Location

The analysis area includes the Ashton Hill to Last Chance and from Bishop Mtn to North Hatchery Butte. The project units will be located throughout the analysis area in stands with an Aspen component.
