Construct a fifty mile, eight inch natural gas pipeline between Bear Lake County and Afton, Wyoming. Approximately 20 miles of this pipeline would be on Forest Service lands.

This project would authorize replacing the overhead powerlines to underground lines in the Hoffman Recreation Residence summer home area.

To improve the health and resiliency of vegetation communities and habitats in fire-dependent ecosystems across the portion of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest covered by the Caribou Revised Forest Plan.

The proposal is to treat up to 483 acres within the project area. Treatments proposed to reduce hazardous fuels include commercial timber sale, non-commercial thinning treatments, and prescribed fire with hand/aerial ignition (broadcast and piles).

The Westside Ranger District received an application for a new Snotel site to be installed by NRCS on Forest Service lands to monitor snowpack and weather conditions. The proposed site is on Clarkston Mountain near the Idaho/Utah border.

The project would authorize the construction of a corral off of the Burns Creek Rd (FS 206 Rd) for permittee holders to temporarily place cattle within.

This project would authorize the footprint expansion of two Fall River substations, Last Chance and Pine Haven, to allow necessary equipment upgrades.

Within the Camp Ta Man A Wis permitted area, the project would authorize the construction of a challenge confidence course. The course entails six obstacles to be used in the camp curriculum.

Install Beaver Dam Analogs and Post-assisted Log Structures in select locations to facilitate beaver re-colonization and encourage their presence in the watershed. In their absence, mimic beaver activities on the landscape to improve riparian areas.

Use prescribed fire and mechanical thinning to improve the vegetative/brush diversity and resilience within juniper and mountain mahogany. Reduce hazardous fuels adjacent to private property and along the Rainey Creek road for public safety.

This analysis identifies the visitor use capacity on National Forest System lands only, on the Nez Perce National Historic Trail to assist in the protection and management of trail resources.

Within the Camp Ta Man A Wis permitted area, the project would authorize the construction and maintenance of a trail, deconstruction of a volleyball field, and construction of tent platforms.

The project intends to salvage an approximate 11 acre blowdown area by removing all down and uprooted timber. No new road construction would be necessary but some road maintenance may be required.

This project proposes to implement timber stand improvement activities such as precommercial thinning, weeding and cleaning, pruning, and girdling in 1,887 acres of previously harvested stands.

The project would authorize construction of bridges and trail at an existing developed recreation site, including construction of about 0.4 miles and designation of about 0.6 miles of non-motorized trail.

The proposed project would remove a 20ft communications pole and replace it with a 60ft pole to increase communications at the Smoky Canyon Mine. Additionally a 1,000 gallon propane tank would be installed to power the communications equipment.

The Forest Service is proposing to approve a proposal from Itafos Conda LLC to construct three run-on control ditches with culverts on the Caribou-Targhee National Forest adjacent to the boundary of the Husky1/North Dry Ridge phosphate mine

Pebble Creek Ski Area, operating under an existing ski area permit, is proposing activities to improve operational efficiency and improve the recreational experience for all its visitors in accordance with its master development plan.

The proposal is to treat up to 490 acres within the project area. Treatments proposed to reduce hazardous fuels include commercial timber sale, non-commercial thinning treatments, and prescribed fire with hand/aerial ignition (broadcast and piles).

This project proposes to construct a road on the south side of the Stoddard Creek Campground to provide ingress/egress to the campground. This road is proposed to increase the safety of campers in the event of an emergency.

Project proposes to exclude cattle from a portion of the South Fork of the Snake River riparian area to improve habitat and comply with a change in management.

An EIS is being prepared to address a mine and reclamation plan submitted by Itafos Conda, LLC for the proposed Husky 1 North Dry Ridge Phosphate Mine, approximately 16 miles northeast of Soda Springs, Idaho.

Improve watershed & trail conditions by relocating 0.5 miles of FSTrail 451 out of the riparian/flood zone to eliminate up to 8 stream crossings and remove non-functioning culverts, and installing bottomless arch culverts on 2 trail/stream crossings.

The Tincup Mountain Trailhead project proposes to reconstruct and expand the parking area and trailhead that provides access to the popular Tincup Mountain Trail, NFS Trail 467.

The project proposes to install 5 bridges at creek crossings on the Rainey Creek Trail. The proposed bridges would stop further damage to the stream channel and provide a way for users to safely cross the creek.

Relocate the Midland Trail (NFS Trail 312), Trailhead, and bridge location to reduce sedimentation and erosion in the stream.

The Palisades Ranger District proposes to use a combination of mechanical fuel removal techniques and prescribed fire to reduce hazardous fuels on approximately 2,416 acres of National Forest System Lands.

The Westside Ranger District proposes to treat up to 3,000 acres of vegetation. Treatments would use a mix of mechanical and prescribed fire methods to diversify the age class structure of vegetation.

The project would allow Kelly Canyon Resort (KCR) to phase in a seasonal, tent-based recreational camping (glamping) operation inside the current permitted ski area. KCR operates under a Special Use Permit from the CTNF for 4-season public recreation

Special Use permits for communications facilities at the Big Flat Communication sites have expired and need to be renewed. The new permits will be issued for a period of 30 years.

The Palisades Ranger District proposes to allow Lower Valley Energy to remove 2.84 miles of overhead powerlines and replace them with 2.53 miles of underground lines along roads, where appropriate, to increase accessibility for maintenance.

The Forest Service is proposing to treat approximately 2,984 acres (2,510 forested acres, 179 non-forested acres, and 295 woodland acres) within the project area. Treatment types may include harvest, fuel modification zones, and prescribed burn.

Exploration Drilling of 967 holes to gather information about phosphate reserves on portions of two Federal Phosphate Leases and three off lease areas. Overall disturbance is 168.0 acres.

The Caribou-Targhee National Forest (CTNF) is seeking comments on a proposal to improve 0.8 miles of Diamond Creek below Stewart Canyon. Project is roughly 20 miles due east of Soda Springs Idaho.

Relocate trailheads or perform heavy maintenance at the Bear Gulch, Coal Mine, Pete Creek & Trail Creek trailheads to improve safety and reduce erosion/ sediment loading to streams. Expand surface area and add barriers if needed.

The proposed action is to obliterate the current Crestline Trailhead and quarter mile access road, Forest Road 333. The trailhead would be re-constructed in a new location immediately adjacent to Forest Road 001 (Scout Mountain Road.

The Montpelier Ranger District of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest is proposing to allow Forest Service permittees to construct a corral, associated fencing, and turnaround on forest land.

The Forest Service proposes to authorize Kelly Canyon Ski Resort to remove Lift 1, a decades old, double seat, fixed grip aerial tramway and replace with a new fixed grip, triple seat, aerial tramway. ]

The proposed project is restore natural stream function on 1,840 feet (0.35 miles) of lower Rainey Creek on National Forest lands within the Swan Valley Work Center.

Reroute approx. 3/10 of a mile at head of canyon putting it on a grade of 5 to 10%. Close and rehab old segment to eliminate eroding section of trail. Reroute 2/10 of a mile at mid trail to eliminate rock hazards.

The project aims to increase the capacity for electricity along the existing Fall River Electric 46 Line to meet increased electricity demands.

The Forest Service proposes to conduct trail drainage improvements, minor trail re-construction, installation of two trail bridges, and replacement of two culverts along the West Fork of Mink Creek.

Realign 1.8 miles of the Lower Wells Canyon Road from Wells Canyon Creek drainage bottom onto the south facing slope to correct the continuous water resource impacts, provide the public with a safe travel route and reduce road maintenance costs.

Excellon Idaho Gold proposes to conduct exploration activities under a multi-year approach. This will include some road construction and the use of existing roads in the project area to support exploration activities.

The proposed action is to use commercial harvest, followed by stand tending activities to improve the overall health and resilience of forests in the project area.

The Teton Basin Ranger District proposes to use a combination of mechanical fuel removal techniques and prescribed fire to reduce hazardous fuels on approximately 3,000 acres of National Forest System Lands.

Analyse a proposed phosphate mine expansion plan and associated projects and infrastructure at the existing J.R. Simplot Company's Smoky Canyon Mine on leases I-26843, I-012890, and I-015259. 527 acres of disturbance on forest, 322 off forest.

The Caribou-Targhee National Forest (CTNF) is seeking comments on a proposal to improve 5.4 miles of Tincup Creek above the North Fork Bridge. Project is 11 miles due west of Freedom Wyoming.

The Montpelier Ranger District of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest is proposing a project to improve wildlife habitat on the southern end of Caribou County in the Gannet Spring Creek Inventoried Roadless Area, 16 miles northeast of Montpelier.

Build four trail reroutes equaling 1 mile and two trail bridges on Forest Service trail #273 in order to eliminate six current trail creek crossings. There will not be a net change in miles of trail with one mile of reroutes and one mile removed.

Restore wet meadow, wetland and riparian habitat on the Curlew National Grassland by restoring streams, stabilizing and reshaping eroding stream channels, banks and draws.

Authorize the NRCS to construct a SNOTEL site in the current location of the Pebble Creek Snow Course Site. The SNOTEL site is located on the Westside Ranger District of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest along Forest Road 24 near Big Canyon.

The project would precommercially thin ~3900 acs to reduce/prolong the overall susceptibility to mountain pine beetle attacks & crown fires in previously harvested areas. The project would also provide for a variety of products now & in the future.

Construct approximate 10,000 square foot maintenance facility accompanied by fuel storage, vehicle parking areas, a maintenance yard, and maintenance route accessing the site on NFS Lands within the Grand Targhee Resort SUP.

Nu-West Industries, Inc., submitted a Mine and Reclamation Plan (MRP) which proposes new open-pit phophate mining operations on federal leases I-05975, and some adjacent private lands. It also proposes lease modification and several Special Use Auth

This project removes encroaching Douglas fir in 2400 acres of sagebrush steppe to enhance and restore habitat for Greater Sage-Grouse, pygmy rabbits, and sagebrush songbirds of conservation concern.

This project would treat a mountain brush community (mountain big sage, bitterbrush, snowberry) using fire to diversify the age structure and improve conditions for wildlife as well as reduce fuel loading.

Reroute the severely eroding steep grade with large rocks, to a new lower grade and reclaim the old route.

T-Mobile has submitted a request for a Communications Use Lease at the Phillips Communications Site. The request includes installation of an 11 foot by 20 foot pre-fab concrete equipment shelter and co-location of antennas on the existing tower.

Build approximately 400 yards of fence across the Ranger Trail to protect sensitive plant populations in the Burns Canyon Allotment. Fences will be barbed wire located entirely in the uplands. The permittee will be responsible for maintenance.

This project would establish a motorized ATV route from Morgan Meadows to Caribou City. The project would include:construction of approximately 2.2 miles of new trail; 4.85 miles of trail reconstruction; and the installation of 4 ATV bridges

This Environmental Assessment addresses changes to river management along the Snake River Planning Area and Teton River Canyon due to changes in land use, population growth, and increased recreational use.

Bonneville Power Administration has requested approval to construct a 50 foot communications tower on a 25 foot by 25 foot concrete base, and bury an 80 foot long cable from the tower to an existing building at the Sawtell Communications Site.

This fence would further deter livestock from entering the municipal watershed by constructing a fence around this prescription management area.

Replace existing handicap accessible fishing platform with a similar platform to improve recreation user accessibility, fishing access, and protection of the riparian resources along Warm River.

To modify and improve vegetation conditions to increase the probability of success for managing wildfires adjacent to private homes and improvements. Therefore, we will create strategic fuel breaks and promote aspen, to limit fire spread.

Fremont County has requested a special use authorization for a 9.13 acre solid waste transfer station, which would include new scales, scale building, recycling center, transfer station building, and associated interior roads.

Seasonally close Forest Service Rd 423 from the junction of Rd 059 to the junction of Rd 482. Road 423 would be closed June 1 to Sept 30 by installing a gate at each end to comply with DEQ regulations to maintain 300 ft from active sewer spray fields

The 2,989 acre Yale Creek Fuels Reduction Project proposes to reduce the risk of wildland fire and create a sustainable fire community within both the Yale Creek and Old West Ranches subdivisions.

Create ATV connecting link from Good Enough trailhead to Scout Mtn. trail system by widening existing motorcycle trail.

Develop a mountain bike trail system within the Kelly Canyon Ski Area special use permit boundary and create 2 small ski runs.

The purpose of the project is to improve sage-grouse habitat on the CNG. The project includes hand and mechanical juniper removal and thinning, creation of a fuel break and small mosaic openings in sagebrush to promote age-class diversity.

Re-contour approx. 3 acres of an abandoned road bed and widen approx. 1 acre of an existing parking lot within the Pebble Creek permitted area. Will also install a toilet and possibly a warming yurt at the parking area.

The project would restore a previously-diverted tributary of Smoky Creek back into its natural discharge location of Smoky Creek.

Construct a corral on Forest Land below the Paris Campground to aid in management and movement of cattle.

Place water control structures at the non-functioning earthen dams of Railroad Pond and Thompson Hole to restore these sites for Trumpeter Swan breeding and restore pond and lake wetland habitat for other species.

The Otis Gold Corporation has proposed to conduct mineral exploration drilling within their mining claims. Drilling would occur on 34 sites. All drilling and reclamation would be completed within one year of project initiation.

Create 4,300 feet of OHV trail adjacent to Highway 34 connecting Lanes Creek Cutoff Road and Tincup Road. An OHV bridge, culverts, and a cattle guard would need to be installed on the trail.

There is an immediate need to replace a dilapidated stream crossing structure on the Cave Falls Road (FS Road #582) where a tributary to Wyoming Creek goes under the road. It will be replaced with an open bottom arch.

This project proposes construction of an over-flow parking lot and associated facilities to accommodate the public waiting for a tour of Minnetonka Cave.

This project is associated with the Hwy 37 improvement project, which consists of improving approx. 3 miles of roadway and 5 stream crossings situated within Rock Creek Canyon. Restoration work will address up to 4 miles of eroding stream channel.

Re-issue 30 year lease to Teton Communications for operations of the Kelly Mountain Communication site. Current lease expires 12/31/2016. Tenant is in good standing with the Forest Service.

Purchase two parcels of land and a conservation easement within the Caribou-Targhee National Forest proclaimed boundary from willing sellers. Funds from the Land and Water Conservation Fund will be used to purchase the properties.

Construct livestock exclusion fence around Rock Springs for protection and benefit of wildlife and watershed; install headbox and pipe water off-site to remove cattle from spring; obliterate unauthorized motorized route and stabilize active headcut.

To restore connectivity of Tincup Creek to the floodplain, enable return of willows, encourage beaver colonization, stabilize vertical eroding banks at meanders, improve habitat for 3 sensitive species, and to improve grazing and riparian conditions.

Reduce understory tree and brush densisites to change stand age, composition and structure to mimic historic fire regimes and improve wildlife habitat. Masticator would be used and slash piled/burned. No commercial harvest or road construction.

Purpose of this project is to remove conifers that are encroaching upon Greater Sage-Grouse habitat. The proposed action is to cut the encroaching conifers with chain saws and/or masticate, chip, pile and burn or make available to the public
