Caribou-Targhee National Forest Bonneville, Idaho Palisades Ranger District

Use prescribed fire to treat 1533 acres to improve the declining aspen population and decadent brush species to create a diversity of age classes for wildlife and critical summer range for big game species as well as for public safety.

Location

Unit- Palisades Ranger District. State- Idaho. County-Bonneville. Legal- Township 1N, Range 44E, Sections 19, 20, 28-30. The project area is located 5 miles south of Swan Valley, Idaho.
