The Palisades Ranger District proposes to allow Lower Valley Energy to remove 2.84 miles of overhead powerlines and replace them with 2.53 miles of underground lines along roads, where appropriate, to increase accessibility for maintenance.

The project is located in the McCoy Creek and Calamity areas west of Palisades Reservoir in Bonneville County, ID.
