Mink Creek Beaver Restoration Project

Caribou-Targhee National Forest Bannock, Idaho Westside Ranger District

Install Beaver Dam Analogs and Post-assisted Log Structures in select locations to facilitate beaver re-colonization and encourage their presence in the watershed. In their absence, mimic beaver activities on the landscape to improve riparian areas.

Location

Project area located approximately 8 air miles southwest of Pocatello, Idaho.
