Upper Valley Landscape Improvement Project

The project would use prescribed fire and mechanical and hand vegetation treatments to reduce wildfire hazard and improve forest health. It would also stabilize and restore streams and provide guzzlers for wildlife.

Location

The proposed 16,855-acre Upper Valley Landscape Improvement Project project is located in Garfield County, Utah (UT) approximately 15 miles southwest of Escalante, UT. Access is via Utah Highway 12.
