The main purpose of this project would be to reduce the susceptibility of healthy ponderosa pine stands to bark beetle infestation. A secondary purpose would be to improve VSS composition by moving towards an un-even aged system creating VSS1 stands.

Location

Approximately 3 miles west and northwest of Long Valley Junction, UT.
