Salvage of merchantable dead Ponderosa Pine, Fir and Spruce that were burnt in wildfire. Salvage areas are in close proximity of the roadway and may pose a safety hazard. They also have economic value before they succumb to insect and disease.
Location
Cedar City Ranger District of the Dixie National Forest in Iron and Garfield County, Utah. The project area is located southeast of Brian Head, Utah and northwest of Panguitch Lake along Highway 143 and Forest Service Road 050
