California Hollow Mineral Material Pit Expansion Project

Request from Utah Department of Transportation to use mineral materials as shouldering material to flatten steep slopes along Utah State Highway 18. Material has been requested for use from the California Hollow Minerals Material Pit.

Location

The project area is an existing mineral pit located at mile 28.3 on Utah State Highway 18. It is accessed by Forest Service Road 33422 in Washington County. The pit is in T38S, R16W, Section 34.
