Salvage of dead Engelmann spruce trees on up to 250 acres of Forest Service System lands using 1/2 miles of temporary road. Slash would be available for fuelwood or burned and tree planting would follow if needed.
Location
Approximately 20 miles east of Cedar City, Utah near State Highway 148. The elevation is at approximately 10,000 feet on the Markagunt Plateau.
