The Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) is proposing to install a SNOTEL weather station in the headwaters of Chalk Creek for the purpose of monitoring snow depth, snow water equivalent data, precipitation, temperature, etc.
Location
Headwaters of Chalk Creek north of Forest Road 865 between Turner Wash on the south and Mason Gulch on the north.
