Fishlake National Forest Sevier, Utah Fremont River Ranger District

The Fishlake National Forest is proposing to implement prescribed fire treatments in seral aspen stands to promote the regeneration and recruitment of aspen communities. A mosaic burn pattern with a variety of fire severities is desired.

Location

The project area, where management activities are proposed, is on the Fremont River Ranger District just south/southwest of Hilgard Mountain, east of UM Creek and west of Tidwell Slopes.
