Fishlake National Forest Garfield; Sevier, Utah Fremont River Ranger District

The Fremont River and Richfield Ranger Districts are proposing a vegetation improvement project to create and maintain healthy and resilient spruce-fir stands by removing dead/dying Engelmann spruce, thinning live trees, planting spruce where needed.

Location

The targeted stands of the project area are located near Daniels Pass, Mount Marvine, and Big Flat in Sevier County. In Garfield County, the project area is in the Dark Valley and Blue Lake area.
