Dakabah Partnership In Time (PIT) Project

Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest Nye, Nevada Tonopah Ranger District

PIT volunteers will rehab 135 feet of existing trail to protect an important archaeology site. We will then reroute and construct 147 feet of new trail around the archaeology site.

Location

60 miles northeast of Tonopah, Nevada in Nye County on National Forest System lands up South Fork Pine Creek on the eastern slope of Mount Jefferson in the Alta Toquima Wilderness.
