Swauger Creek Fuels Reduction Project

Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest Mono, California Bridgeport Ranger District

The purpose for this project is to restore stand health, reduce wildfire severity, promote under story regeneration in sage-steppe, mountain shrub, mixed conifer, and aspen communities and imrpove wildlife habitat and help create defensiable space.

Location

The Project Area includes National Forest System lands within the Swauger Creek drainage. The project area is approximately 10 miles north of Bridgeport, CA.
