The Forest Service proposes to amend the Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe special use permit to authorize downhill skiing and associated improvements in the Atoma area and construction of a water tank on the westernmost portion of the permit boundary.

Location

Twelve miles north of the intersection of Mt. Rose Highway (Nevada State Route 431) and US 395, immediately north of the Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe base lodge and parking area.
