The Forest proposes to convey 60 acres of land in the Thomas Creek area outside of Carson City, Nevada, to the Washoe County School District. The sale would occur under the authority of the Education Land Grant Act (ELGA) of 2000.

Thomas Creek area, in the western portion of Carson City, Nevada. It is currently a forest service parcel, but is fully surrounded by private land in a neighborhood.
