Following the 2013 Carpenter 1 fire significant watershed damage has occurred in the Harris Springs Watershed. The proposed project would address erosion form monsoonal events in the upper Harris Springs Canyon Watershed.
Location
The Harris Springs Canyon Watershed (USGS-delineated HUC 6 watershed) is approximately 31,141 acres on the east side of the Spring Mountains range south of Highway 157 (Kyle Canyon Road).
