This project will remove pinyon and juniper from approximately 875 acres of sagebrush ecosystems along the California/Nevada border at Jackass Flat to improve habitat for the Bi-State sage-grouse.

Location

Located on the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, Bridgeport Ranger District, Lyon County, NV and Mono County, CA. Northeast of Walker, CA, and west of Sweetwater Flat in NV.
