Create new, sustainable parking area and trailhead and by designing and constructing a new access trail and vault toilet. Project includes hillside-stabilization and erosion-control measures, new interpretive signs and displays.

Buckeye Hot Springs is located on Buckeye Creek, a tributary to the Walker River, Bridgeport Reservoir, and Carson/Walker Watershed in Mono County.
