Desert Creek BSSG Habitat Improvement and Forest Health Project

Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest Lyon, Nevada Bridgeport Ranger District

This project is designed in improve sage brush habitats for BSSG, as well as reduce fuels within the WUI, and improve forest health through removing expanding PJ woodlands and thinning established PJ forests.

Location

Approximately 27 air miles north of Bridgeport, 5 miles south of Smith Valley, west of highway 338.
