MWTC Weather Stations

Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest Mono, California Bridgeport Ranger District

Install 4 Remote Automated Weather Stations (RAWS) to collect weather and climate data to support training and air operations at MWTC. Leavitt lake site will serve the Bridgeport Avalanche Center in safety messages for backcountry use.

Location

Approximately 30 miles north west of Bridgeport CA. Sites include Leavitt Lake, Mill Canyon, Mean Peak, Cloudburst Canyon.
