Poeville Mahogany Habitat Restoration Project

Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest Washoe, Nevada Carson Ranger District

The Poeville Fire burned approximately 2,900 acres in June 2020 and resulted in the loss of crucial winter range. Past fires in the area have diminished habitat availability and habitat quality. The project would improve degraded habitat.

Location

National Forest System Lands located north of the greater Reno, Nevada area on the east side of Peavine Mountain (Sections 19, 25,30, T20N, R 18E)
