Mormon Pasture Mountain Wildlife Habitat Improvement Project

Manti-La Sal National Forest San Juan, Utah Monticello Ranger District

The project will improve forage production for big game and draw animals away from adjacent aspen treatment areas. The treatments would reduce the continuity of vegetative fuels to reduce the chances of severe wildland fire and damage to watersheds.

Location

north portion of Monticello District, T33S, R20E sections 10,11,14,22,23,27,28,33-35 and T34S, R20E sections 2-4, 9-11, 15-17.
