A vegetation management project to address the health, productivity and resiliency of vegetation and soil resources near Monticello, UT. The project is designed for the improvement of wildlife habitat and for fuels reduction.

Location

The Shingle Mill project is an area of about 10,680 acres in the foothills east and south of Monticello, Utah. It is within the Vega-Montezuma Creek HUC 5 watershed of the San Juan River.
