The Harpole Mesa Sagebrush Restoration Project is proposed to improve winter range habitat for big game (mule deer and elk) and to reduce the continuity of vegetative fuels.

Location

The treatment is proposed on 204 acres of NFS lands on Harpole Mesa, along the La Sal Loop Road above Castle Valley on the north side of the La Sal Mountains.
