The purpose of this project is to provide a staging point for OHV use, alleviating some of the traffic congestion currently experienced at the bottom of Maple Canyon as OHV riders stage from that location.
Location
The Wales Canyon Parking Area project is located just west of Wales, Utah adjacent to National Forest System Roads (NFSR) 50101 and 50127, in T15 S, R2E, NW of Section 25, Salt Lake Meridian, Sanpete County, Utah (see attached project maps).
