The Thompson Creek Mining Company (TCMC) submitted a plan of operations for continued mining through approximately 2030. The POO proposes new surface disturbance on a total of approximately 500 acres of private and public (BLM & NFS) lands.

Location

The Thompson Creek Mine is located in Custer County, Idaho approximately 5 miles north of the Salmon River and 35 miles southwest of the county seat of Challis.
