The purpose of the project is to reroute 0.10 miles of the Kelly Creek Trail, FS Trail #4323, to eliminate two ford crossings in ESA-listed fish habitat.

Exploration drilling operations on unpatented claims in the Copper Creek and Little Deep Creek area. The plan of operations proposes to to drill no more than 5 holes at 23 drilling locations with 1 mile of new temporary road access.

Whole tree collection (boles and rootwads) for placement in stream channels to improve habitat.

There are seven proposed drill sites. The number of drill holes at each site may vary with a maximum of three. Both vertical and angle holes may be drilled. Roughly 1.75 miles of existing road may be used temporarily.

The Salmon-Challis National Forest (Salmon-Challis) proposes to issue a special use permit to Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) to maintain the Hoodoo Meadows Airstrip and by making other repairs to make the Airstrip functional.

Remove encroaching vegetation from an existing airstrip, restore the airstrip's runway surface and install other items needed to return the airstrip to a usable state. Other items include windsocks, and tie-down blocks.

Commercially harvest and thin up to 3,000 acres. The treatments would be designed to decrease timber stand susceptibility to insect population buildup and to decrease hazardous fuels accumulation.

The Forest Service proposes to install a fish barrier in Warm Creek in the Little Lost River Basin to prevent non-native brook trout from negatively impacting ESA-listed bull trout.

This project is to construct an approximately 0.25 mile fence to improve wildlife and fisheries habitat on Warm Creek.

Relocate a section of the Muldoon Canyon Road (FS Road # 40510) that is negatively impacting streams, floodplains, wetlands, and riparian areas

Restore ecosystem diversity through increasing forest resiliency to insect and disease agents. Using a combination of manual and mechanical treatments and prescribed fire designed to reduce stand densities.

Forest-wide prescription burning for fuels reduction and habitat restoration.

Construction of approximately 0.84 miles of barbed wire fence along Mill Creek. The fence will run alongside the 250 road for approximately one-half mile then contour to the nearest steep point to tie the fence off.

Extend fence to better manage cattle distribution

This project proposes to conduct hard rock, exploration drilling to determine mineral potential adjacent to Long Tom and Colson Creek of the North Fork Ranger District, on National Forest System (NFS) lands open to mineral entry.

Installation of three water troughs and a jack fence in the Willow Creek Unit of the Alder Creek Allotment to improve cattle distribution in this unit and reduce pressure in the Willow Creek riparian areas.

Implement adaptive and integrated invasive plant management on current and potential infested areas which would include inventory and assessment designed to support Early Detection Rapid Response, control methods, monitoring, and rehabilitation.

Remove a diversion structure in the Knapp Creek watershed. This diversion is no longer in use, and the diversion instream structure, diversion headgate, diversion ditch within the floodplain, and diversion fish screen will be removed.

Expansion of four existing rock source pits and development of five new rock sources (approximately 90 acres) across the forest to facilitate road maintenance needs.

The Operator proposes to disturb up to a total of 230 acres by constructing 24 miles of temporary roads, 300-400 drill sites, up to 4 drill holes per site and staging in phases spread across ten years.

The Operator's Plan, as submitted, proposes to core drill from eight pads accessed using a Forest System roads and trails. This proposed action documented below is a summary of the submitted plan and includes Forest Service project design features.

Restore access to the Colson Creek Road by constructing a new segment of Forest System Road that would accommodate full-sized vehicles. New segment would replace temporary ATV trail currently in place.

Reroute of existing trail to move trail off of private land and onto National Forest System land.

The Forest proposes to sell one historic warehouse building and two out building sheds in Mackay, Idaho on a 0.48-acre fenced parcel with utilities.

Revival Gold LLC proposes to conduct mineral exploration drilling on 27 sites, accessing the sites with a helicopter and 6 miles of new, temporary road, and drafting water from Napias Creek.

Project proposes to construct three segments of fence totaling 0.9 miles and installing three cattleguards on Forest roads to better manage livestock in the North Fork of the Big Lost River on the Wildhorse C&H Allotment.

Installation of cattle guard and fence to improve livestock distribution on a grazing allotment.

The proposed action would restore Eightmile Creek to a more natural condition by placing large wood in the stream channel and eliminating impacts to the stream associated with an adjacent road.

The proposal is to authorize five (5) non-motorized recreation events on the Salmon-Challis National Forest. Each event would be authorized under individual special use permits for up to a five (5) year term.

Project would reduce conifers encroaching into sage steppe greater sage-grouse habitat. The project would authorize approx. 199,500 acres and treat roughly 3,000 acres per year. Trees would be hand felled, lopped, and/or piled for burning.

Improve public access to Carmen Creek drainage and better enforce vehicle restrictions on non-motorized portion of the Carmen Creek Trail.

The Salmon Cobalt Ranger District (SCRD) is proposing to withdraw approximately 107.02 acres of National Forest Lands from mineral entry under the 1872 Mining Law.

The intent of the project is to improve timber stands, wildlife forage and habitat by utilizing hand thinning, hand piling and prescribed burning to restore stands closer to reference conditions

Salvage marketable forest products from trees killed over 1,452 acres as a result of the Halstead Fire and those trees that may succumb to expansion of Douglas-fir beetle triggered by the fire. Areas include Challis-Yankee and Middle Fork Districts.

Construct 0.25 miles of fence on the Wildhorse C&H grazing allotment, at the Kane Lake Trailhead in Kane Canyon, to protect fish and wildlife habitat.

The Lost River Ranger District (LRRD) is proposing to reclaim transportation routes by decommissioning twenty-one unauthorized routes and five closed system routes in the Alder Ck drainage, approximately 6 air miles south to southwest of Mackay, ID.

Prescribed broadcast burning and tree cutting proposal to reduce hazardous fuels in the WUI in and around the Mosquito Flat area

Doloughan Construction LLC proposes to placer up to 29 acres for gold in the Napias Creek area of the Salmon-Cobalt Ranger District on National Forest System (NFS) lands under open to mineral entry the 1872 Mining Law, as amended.

Install PIT array on Marsh Creek adjacent to Lola Creek Campground.

The project would maintain the functionality of the site by adding camping areas, toilets, parking, information kiosk, and other amenities.

To re-locate approx. 600 yards of Road #714 in the "Ballpark" area of the Lost River Ranger District. The re-location will bypass a wet area where resource damage is occurring. The proposal includes decommissioning the abandoned road route.
