Withdrawn - The Challis-Yankee Fork Ranger District is proposing to conduct fuels reduction treatments on 4035 acres by thinning near private land and prescribed burning and thinning conifers that are encroaching into aspen stands.

Location

The project area is located between the Jeff Flat Road (FS-079) and Challis Creek Road (FS-080) on and around Corkscrew Mountain. This is approximately 8 miles NW of Challis, Idaho.
