The Salmon-Challis NF proposes to reroute 0.25 miles of NFS Road #40656 to eliminate 2 ford crossings in ESA-listed fish habitat. A new route will be constructed and bridge installed across Banner Creek.

The project is located approximately 17 miles NW of Stanley, Idaho on the NFS Road #40656 on the Middle Fork Ranger District.
