Salmon-Challis National Forest Custer, Idaho Middle Fork Ranger District

We plan to promote forest health by reducing current stand densities and removing all mistletoe in the proposed stands using mechanical treatments. Treatments may include chainsaws, mulching, mastication, or small tractors with chipper heads.

Location

The project area is located in the Marsh Creek watershed(FLRMP # 3) on the Middle Fork Ranger District of the Salmon-Challis National Forest. The project is approx. 12 miles northwest of Stanley, ID
