Salmon-Challis National Forest Lemhi, Idaho Salmon-Cobalt Ranger District

Use thinning treatments and prescribed fire to reduce hazardous fuel loading, restore forest resilience to insects and disease, reduce unauthorized usage that lowers water quality, and improve wildland firefighter safety.

Location

Jesse Creek drainage and its vicinity, west of the City of Salmon, Idaho, including some BLM land east of the Forest boundary.
