Canyon Creek Stream Restoration Project

Salmon-Challis National Forest Lemhi, Idaho Leadore Ranger District

Installing stream improvement structures to help restore Salmonid spawning habitat in Canyon Creek, including pool formations, spawning and rearing stream substrate composition, stream bank stability and streamside shading over a five year period.

Location

The proposed project is located on Canyon Creek, a tributary to the Lemhi River. The project area is approximately 5-8 miles northeast of the town of Leadore, Idaho.
