Conifer removal would entail the felling of trees that are on the leading edges of conifer stands that are invading into sage-grouse habitat within sagebrush habitat, and the removal of trees that are out by themselves in sage-grouse habitat..
Location
The 725 acre proposed project area (see map) in Lee Creek Allotment would have 2 project sites (1-2) that encompass 317 acres of conifer removal.
