This project will help to reduce hazardous fuels around USFS & private land boundaries as well as travel corridors in the Whiting Canyon area. It will also help to improve mule deer winter range and reduce tree canopy crown fire potential.
Location
The project is located east of the city of Mapleton in Maple Canyon.
