Proposal to harvest the roots of approximately 120 acres of Veratrum californicum (Corn lily) from the Uinta NF. An external proponent would use a chemical in the plants to explore and establish medical options for the treatment of certain cancers.

Location

Approximately 14 miles southeast of Heber City, Utah, near Heber Mountain in the upper reaches of the West Fork of the Duchesne River.
