Mapleton City Fuel Break

Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest Utah, Utah Spanish Fork Ranger District

Proposal to thin Oak and Juniper brush in order to create defensible space and shaded fuel breaks. A variety of treatment methods will be used to manipulate the stand structure and composition including mastication, lop and scatter, and cut and chip.

Location

The eastern boundary of Mapleton City at the base of Spanish Fork Peak.
