Project adds 2,471 acres to the original 200 acres of shrub planting area south of Vernon near the Benmore lek to improve critical nesting habitat for sage-grouse. Habitat loss in the area has put the sage-grouse population at risk of extirpation.

6 miles south of Vernon City. 2.5 mile west of Benmore administrative site.
