Littlerock Reservoir Sediment Removal Project

Palmdale Water District proposes to remove approx. 1.2 million cubic yards of sediment from the reservoir, and haul it to a waste facility near Palmdale. A concrete grade control structure will be built to reduce future sedimentation.

Location

Littlerock Reservoir is approximately 3.5 miles south of the unincorporated community of Littlerock, on Highway 138; and 8.5 miles southeast of Palmdale.
